Privacy policy

How RescueWP handles information for diagnosis and triage.

RescueWP provides operator-led WordPress and WooCommerce diagnosis, technical triage and scope review. This page explains the practical privacy boundaries for ordinary public intake, email and paid diagnosis workflows.

Who operates this service

The public brand and operator label is RescueWP. For operational privacy questions, contact incidents@rescuewp.com. Final legal controller identity details must be completed before broad paid public traffic. This policy does not invent a registered company name, address, tax ID, DPO or legal representative.

What we collect

Ordinary intake may ask for contact details, a site URL, visible symptoms, business urgency, selected service context and safe diagnostic notes. Diagnosis or triage may require additional evidence later, such as screenshots, timestamps, safe configuration summaries or redacted logs.

What you must not submit through ordinary intake

Do not submit passwords, tokens, full credentials, card data, raw secrets, private third-party data, unredacted database dumps or other sensitive material through ordinary forms or email. RescueWP does not request raw credentials or secrets in public intake. If a case later needs access or sensitive evidence, the operator must scope a safer channel and authority path first.

How information is used

Information is used to assess fit, triage the technical issue, request additional evidence, communicate with you, prepare a diagnosis, and decide whether any separately scoped repair review is possible. Some cases may be provider-boundary, access-limited, unsafe, legally constrained or outside RescueWP scope.

Payments and card data

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. RescueWP does not store card data. Stripe may process payment details under its own payment-processing terms and security controls.

Operator alerts

Internal operator alerts may be sent through SMS/Twilio using minimized case data only, such as safe case identifiers, service context and urgency signals. These alerts are for operator awareness and are not customer SMS automation.

Retention and minimization

RescueWP aims to keep ordinary intake data minimized to what is needed for diagnosis, triage, payment authority, customer communication and operational review. Avoid sending unnecessary personal data or third-party private data.

No guaranteed outcome

Diagnosis and triage do not guarantee recovery, repair, availability, malware removal, checkout restoration or any outcome percentage. Any repair work must be separately scoped and authorized.
